THE BROTHERHOOD: PICTURE THIS BY IAN RICHARDSON: Commission

This is my ninth team 'Brotherhood'-themed commission and my 66th for Damon Owens, the clearly most-prolific record holding client in my entire gallery. This image was inspired by the JSA cover from 1997 and before that the Rich Buckler/Dick Giordano cover to 'All-Star Squadron' #1. This is my first job over UK artist Ian Richardson.

For those interested, the characters are, to quote Damon at his CAF gallery page: "That's the Black Panther, Storm, and the Falcon. The pictures on the table are -- from left to right more or less -- Triathlon, Green Lantern (John Stewart), Blue Marvel, Dr. Voodoo (held by Storm), Cardiac, Hardware, Blade, Free Agent (under Falcon's thumb), Steel, Icon, Nubia, Monica Rambeau, Mr. Miracle, Luke Cage, and Azrael."

For this 11X17 image on 2-ply board I used my Raphael Kolinsky#8404 brush, Hunt 102 quill for a few lines, micronmarkers, Pitt S marker and Pitt Brush marker. It was completed on December 20, 2011.
